Interdisciplinary artist, architect, researcher, and educator with many years of international professional and academic experience across Malaysia, Singapore, Austria, and Poland. Currently serving as Senior Lecturer and Researcher at the Faculty of Creative Multimedia, Multimedia University, Malaysia. My professional practice integrates Visual Arts, Professional Architectural Experience and Teaching. Besides architecture, I specialize in experimental artistic installations, spatial perception, painting, public exhibitions, and design.
My research explores the relationship between art, architecture, and human-centered spatial experiences. I actively collaborate with researchers, scientists, museums and international institutions in projects combining visual arts with science.

The exhibition Secrets of the Stars featured paintings by Dr. Karolina Wojnowska-Paterek and was held and organised by the University of Gdańsk and the University of Gdańsk Museum (MUG), with Marta Szaszkiewicz and Magdalena Jaszcza serving as curators.

- “The Wonderings of light” artistic installation.
“The Wonderings of Light” is a kinetic art installation, which aims at popularization of basic physical problems and experiments. Art provides important and powerful means in the development of abstract thinking, which in turn makes people able to better understand reality around us. This art & science exhibition encourages visitors to broaden their knowledge of quantum physics.
It was founded by the Foundational Questions Institute (Templeton Foundation) in the US and has been presented in a few Science Centres and public museums. I have developed the project working at Gdańsk University.

It debuted on February 19-th, 2022 as a part of the program of Polish Science Day event (Polish Science Day – NAWA) in Experyment Science Museum in Gdynia, Poland . Experyment in Gdynia is one of the top polish Science Museums, features interactive exhibitions, provides space for creative experimentation and temporary exhibitions Centrum Nauki Experyment – experyment.
Presentation of the “Wonders of light” installation was transmitted on public television and news. Another exhibition of “The Wonders of light” project took place on the occasion of World Quantum Day on April 14th World Quantum Day, April 14th, 2022 – ICTQT (ug.edu.pl)

In August 2022 the installation was exhibited at the public gallery Bydgoszcz Center for Fine Arts (BCS) in Poland.
● Solo Painting Exhibition “The Imperfect Beauty of Asian Cities” (5–31 August 2021) at The Palace of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland. The exhibition is the inaugural edition of a planned multi-year project.
This exhibition was the first organized after two years of COVID-19 lockdowns and marked the first scheduled installment within an ongoing curatorial programme. Following a prolonged period of closed borders and restricted international travel, it symbolically celebrating renewed mobility, cultural exchange, and artistic dialogue after the isolation of the pandemic.
The exhibition was held by invitation and organized by the non-profit national organization Krakow Society of Friends of Fine Arts, established in Krakow in 1854, dedicated to presenting works by Polish artists and representatives of European art.
