Painting exhibition by Karolina Wojnowska Paterek “Where The Moon Smiles” is an artistic journey through the “Dream City”, tropical nightscapes and the sky visible from Earth’s equatorial region in Malaysia. A story about the city landscapes of Malaysia through the eyes of the Polish painter Karolina Paterek. After many years of traveling and working as an architect and artist in Asia, she created a series of paintings devoted to magical places that contribute to the unique atmosphere of Asian cities. Rich textures on the walls, contrasts, random compositions drawn by nature, and wide color ranges remind us of abstract paintings. Looking at this apparent chaos, we can discover its beauty, its never-ending hustle, its diversity, its hundreds of neon lights, and its sleeplessness. The artist is living in Malaysia.
